I am a late gifter. I tend to wait until the last minute or sometimes after the fact to purchase a gift. I am a true procrastinator and people already know they’re just going to have to wait. The coffee grinder that I purchased from Amazon was one part of a coffee starter pack that I was gifting someone…for a Christmas gift. I liked the Mr. Coffee grinder because of the different settings. I also thought it was useful to have exact measurements since for me it’s hard to tell how much coffee to grind.
I purchased the ring light because when I decided to try and make videos I realized the light that I had wasn’t bright enough. I needed a ring light that would allow me to do overhead recording and I figured a clip on ring light would work for my needs. It has made the lighting brighter however the brightness only lasts for like 30 minutes. After that I noticed it started to dim causing me to charge it during filming breaks. I am looking for something that allows me to do overhead filming without being too bulky but I haven’t found anything I like.
I have a couple of eyeshadow palettes that I don’t use out of laziness. I say that I’m going to use them for special occasions but the reality of it is that those special occasions only come around like once a quarter. For that reason, I decided that this was the year that I would wear eyeshadow to work and I would rotate between the palettes that I have.
This month I decided to use Maybelline’s The City Mini Palette in Hi-Rise Sunset. I picked this up a couple of weeks ago (unbagging coming at some point) from Walgreens. I thought it was perfect for my preferred work eyelook – one color. It was also right up my alley in terms of color so I purchased it knowing that I really didn’t need any more palettes. My justification was that I was keeping up with my goal!
Back in January I mentioned that I was going to be trying new things. After much thinking and coming up with all the details I decided that I would invest in my creativity. For this reason, I decided to create a separate social media account where I could post things that my family and friends on my personal account wouldn’t understand.
I introduce SB Vibezzz as my creative outlet where I experiment with picture and video editing. SB Vibezzz will feature unboxings, unbaggings, beauty, and food. I posted a short Reels on a whim when Instagram tried to block my account for suspicious activity a day after opening the account. Since it did well, not really sure how, I decided to keep it.
What does it mean for Savir Blogs? Increased content! The things that I post on SB Vibezzz translate to a blog post with more details that most people don’t bother reading on Instagram. But it won’t just be content from SB Vibezz on here. I also have life updates, reviews, and anything else that I feel like posting.
Both Savir Blogs and SB Vibezzz are my way of bettering myself and hopefully there are people out there that can relate. Give me a follow so you won’t miss out. Let me know that you’re from here so I could follow you back!
I love nails! I have my nails done 98% of the time. That 2% represents when I’ve taken off acrylics, press ons, or nail polish. In the Reels above you see my 2021 nail journey. I stuck to regular nail polish and acrylic nails for the majority of the year. It wasn’t until October that I started wearing press ons. The acrylic nails are done by my nail lady while the regular polish and press ons are done by me.
I discovered ILNP nail polish late 2020 so the majority of my nail polish colors in the beginning of 2021 were that brand as I learned the best way to make the manicure last. When I switched to press ons in October I expanded my size range. I prefer small sized press ons because they’re less likely to pop off but I found some medium sized ones that gave me added length without the worry. I dipped into the large sized section and I learned that they’re not that practical because of my line of work. Although pretty, they are not as durable.
I would say that my nails were pretty good last year. I definitely branched out in designs and got plenty of compliments.
I’ve shared a 2021 recap that features some random moments of the year. Going back in my camera roll looking for pictures to include was like reliving all the good and bad moments that I experienced. It also gave me a chance to reflect on the current state of my life.
The last couple of months have been taxing on my mental health. This year I decided that I will just do things for myself. I’m not one for New Year’s Resolutions but this year I decided to give it a try.
In the first week of the year I have started to develop a routine that will allow me to stick to my goals. I’m not one to share my goals when it comes to doing new things but the couple of times I’ve mentioned new ideas, I’ve realized that some people just don’t get it. In the past, the opinions of others would deter me from trying new things but now I don’t care. I’m doing things for me. It is my solo adventure.
